URGENT: David Mahoney being denied vegan food. Immediate action needed!
David Mahoney, an RNC arrestee who started his 3 month sentence today, is currently being denied vegan meals at the Ramsey County Workhouse. Without access to vegan food, Dave's mental and physical health will be severely affected.
We are calling on folks to flood the Ramsey County Workhouse with calls to demand that Dave be given proper vegan food immediately! Be firm, yet polite.
Dave's posse was here when he first came under siege, and we will be here through the duration of his sentence. Defend all targets of state repression!

Having spoken to people in the know - the advice at the moment is to NOT call the workhouse for the time being. Dave has a meeting with the prison officials on Monday about this, and as much as we all want to help him, we also don't want to make his situation more difficult.
So, for the time being, please hold off on calling the jail on this, hopefully this'll be sorted out very soon and Dave will be able to have the vegan food he clearly should be entitled to.

Explain why this elitist white foreign national is entitled to special food and treatment. He can eat what the other non white priviledged folk eat.

You're absolutely right. All vegans are white and no other culture or ethnicity has any dietary restrictions they'd like to maintain while a captive of the state. Sorry jews, muslims, buddhists, and hindus - you need to learn give up your white privilege. Sorry people with food allergies - don't expect any special treatment. Sorry friends who have been stolen from us - we can't try to make your confinement a little less painful because that would be elitist.
