National Day of Action Against Electoral Poltiics Announced: August 10

In order to build momentum towards the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, Unconventional Denver, the RNC Welcoming Committee, and various Unconventional Action groups from across the country are calling on anarchists nationwide to mobilize against the spectacle of electoral politics on August 10th.

We will use the tenth of August to build momentum and make it clear that we are not against one party or the other, but the totality of capitalism and its protector, the state.

Independents Fight for Ballot Access By July 15th

Many local, third party and independent candidates are fighting hard to meet the July 15th deadline for submitting petition signatures to keep their names on the ballot this November. Minnesota law requires all independent and third party candidates to submit many signatures of people eligible to vote in their race by the end of a short, fourteen day window in order to run in the general election.

UNCOUNTED: The New Math of American Elections

Tuesday, July 8, 6:30 p.m. UNCOUNTED is a chilling 81 minute documentary
about voting fraud that changed the results of the 2000 and 2004
presidential elections. Well documented stories, including one from a
computer programmer in Florida who was directed to create software to flip
votes from one candidate to another. Discussion follows.
